DJ Digital Girl - TranceDuction

Dance, trance, and techno artist, DJ Digital Girl, has announced the release of her debut album, “TranceDuction.” The release represents the first full album for the producer and composer, and the culmination of three years of intense recording.

Released on Dec. 7, 2010, “TranceDuction” has officially made it to music outlets and features nine completely new creations. The album also includes three of the independent artist’s previously released singles. The composer is already working on tracks for her second and third albums of electronic dance music, slated for release in the latter part of 2011, and she’s scheduled to tour throughout the year.

DJ Digital Girl is one of the most promising new independent artists and electronic dance music composers on the scene today. Her musical acumen encompasses electronic dance, techno and trance music. Tracks on her debut album have intriguing titles, such as “Winter Flame,” “Amity,” “River Walk” and “Luminosity,” and offers a glimpse into the great things to come from the rising new composer.

DJ Digital Girl was introduced to trance and techno music by accident, through a gift from a special friend who has been tremendous influence to her. She was immediately hooked. She listened to everything she could find in the genre. It didn’t take long for the artist to make the leap from listening to the music to composing her own electronic melodies.

The artist invested many years in learning the music business and creating her own unique brand of techno and dance music from scratch. She had music singing through her soul, but no formal training other than learning to play keyboard as a child. Even attending university, studying biology for her undergrad and pressure from friends and family couldn’t silence the music for DJ Digital Girl.
“It’s a huge learning curve and very much an expense-driven profession and industry,” said DJ Digital Girl. “I’m a self-promoter and marketer. To lower expense, I’ve learned the business and marketing aspect of music along with the artistic qualities. The biggest challenge was to put everything else aside,” said DJ Digital Girl. “I was supposed to go to medical school or have a decent 9-5 job, and family still pressures me to do so.”

She doesn’t limit herself to techno or dance music, preferring instead to experiment with various genres. Her music has been influenced by famous music producers that include Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Robert Miles, ATB, BT and many others.
